Micans and POSIVA OY releases yet another report

This report describes the fifth and sixth sampling campaigns of shallow groundwater microbiology in Olkiluoto, Finland. The campaigns were executed in spring and fall 2014, respectively.

The objective of the work was to investigate if the ONKALO tunnel, where Finland’s future repository for high-level radioactive waste will be situated, has changed the type and numbers of microorganisms and the gas composition in shallow groundwater in proximity to the tunnel.
